Federal Budget and Tax Policy for a Sound Fiscal Future
Washington University Law and the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies will host an interdisciplinary conference on the federal budget in March, bringing together an exciting group of policymakers, academic experts, and professionals with diverse viewpoints. 6.7 MCLE credits.
Presenters and commentators include leading scholars in economics, law, political science, and public policy from universities around the country. Other committed participants include professionals from the Brookings Institution, The Concord Coalition, and the Heritage Foundation.
This is an exciting and important time to engage in lively discussion and debate about the federal budget challenges we face. The conference will include panels on budget process rules, budget process reform, entitlements, tax expenditures, budget accounting, and bailouts. Following presentations and comments from panelists, audience members will be invited and encouraged to participate.
