FACULTY

C.J. Larkin is an experienced mediator and mediation trainer, specializing in family, victimoffender, and community mediation. Ms. Larkin has an extensive family law background as a guardian ad litem and domestic violence advocate. She is a Lecturer in Law and the Administrative Director of ADR Programs, Washington University School of Law.

 

Karen Tokarz is a Professor Law and the Director of Clinical Education & ADR Programs, Washington University School of Law, Professor Tokarz is a Certified Neutral for the U.S. District Court, E.D.Mo., and has served as a private and court-appointed mediator since 1991, specializing in civil rights, education, disability, and employment discrimination cases.

Kenneth Chackes is an attorney and mediator
with the St. Louis firm of Chackes, Carlson and

Spritzer, specializing in employment
discrimination, disability law, and education law.
Mr. Chackes is a Certified Neutral for the U.S.
District Court, E.D. Mo. ; EEOC; and the Missouri
Dept. of Elementary and Secondary Education. He is a former Visiting Associate Professor, Washington University School of Law.

Leonard Frankel is an attorney and mediator 
with the Clayton firm of Frankel, Rubin, Bond, 
Dubin, Siegel & Klein, P.C. specializing in general 
civil litigation, family law, and criminal defense. 
Mr. Frankel is a Certified Neutral for the U.S. District Court, E.D. Mo. He is an Adjunct Professor, Washington University School of Law.

 

Alan Freed is an attorney and mediator with 
the Clayton firm of Paule, Camazine & 
Blumenthal, P.C., concentrating in litigation and 
mediation of divorce/custody cases and 
appellate practice. Mr. Freed is a Certified 
Neutral for the U.S. District Court, E.D. Mo., and a Practitioner Member of the Academy of Family 
Mediators. He is an Adjunct Professor, 
Washington University School of Law.

Michael Geigerman is the Managing Director
of U.S. Arbitration and Mediation Midwest, Inc.,
and has mediated over 1,600 cases in the areas
of general litigation, wrongful death, products
liability, and professional malpractice. Mr. 
Geigerman is a certified neutral for the U.S. District Court, E.D. Mo., and co-editor of the 
Missouri Bar Courts and CLE Bulletin, ADR 
Section. He is an Adjunct Professor, 
Washington University School of Law.

Matthew Homann is an attorney and
mediator in practice in Highland, Illinois. Mr.

Homann is founder of Consensus Mediation, 
LLC , a mediation firm specializing in family
law, personal injury, and commercial disputes,
with offices in Madison, St. Clair and Fayette 
Counties. He is an Adjunct Professor, 
Washington University School of Law.

 

Shante Lampley is an experienced family 
mediator and Supervisor of the Mediation and 
Special Court Services Unit of the St. Louis City
Family Court. Ms. Lampley has provided over
1500 hours of family mediation services and
supervises a team of mediators who provide
domestic relations and intra-family mediation
services.

Lisa Page is an attorney and mediator in
practice in Jefferson County, specializing in 
family and juvenile law. She serves on the 
Board of Directors for M.A.R.C.H. Mediation., a 
non-profit corporation providing mediation 
services in many Missouri counties for postdissolution and paternity cases. A municipal
court judge, she drafted her judicial circuit's mandatory mediation rule and developed court forms and procedures.

Kathleen Whitby is Of Counsel to the St. Louis 
firm of Spencer Fane Britt & Browne, LLP, specializing in environmental law, dispute
resolution, and complex litigation. Ms. Whitby is the former director of Settlement Services for Clean Sites where she served as a mediator, facilitator, arbitrator, and trainer. She serves as the Chair of the ABA Section of Environment, Energy and Resources ADR committee.
