    Holiday Giving Tree Starts Nov. 16th!
    The Holiday Giving Tree Project begins on Monday, November 16. Stop by  the table, pick up an ornament, and give a gift to St. Louisans in need this holiday season. Gifts will go to the following organizations: Court Appointed Special Advocates of St. Louis County; Big Brothers, Big Sisters; Lydia's House; and Beyond Housing. The Holiday Giving Tree, sponsored by the Public Service Advisory Board, will take place from 12 to 1 p.m. from Monday, Nov. 16 through Wednesday, November 25 in the Crowder Courtyard. Students will need to buy gifts and bring them unwrapped (and with gift receipt if possible) to Dean Walsh's office by December 18 (last day of exams).

    ImmLS's Elections Meeting & Service Trip Info Session
    Immigration Law Society will hold its first elections on November 23rd. Positions available include President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Service Chair. All members and supporters are invited and encouraged to attend and cast a vote. In addition to the the elections, this meeting will also serve as an informal information session for  the upcoming Alternative Spring Break trip to Chicago, where students will work with the National Immigrant Justice Center (http://www.immigrantjustice.org). This trip is a student-led initiative and co-sponsored by Immigration Law Society, International Law Society, and PSAB.     International Law Society: Law Students Discussion and Meeting
    The International Law Society will host another J.D.-international law student discussion, and hold internal elections for the upcoming semester's activities. Students will have the opportunity to hear from international law students, exchange experiences in different legal systems and educational backgrounds, and learn more about the similarities and differences between our experiences; members will also have the opportunity to nominate candidates and vote for one to two 1L representatives.  This meeting will occur on Monday, November 23rd at 12:00 noon in the Jordan Foundation Classroom (AB 204).  For more information please contact the ILS Secretary Mike Weinhold, maweinhold@wulaw.wustl.edu.  Lunch will be served!
