CLE Programs and Trainings

Dispute Resolution Programs (CLE)

The Dispute Resolution Program partners with U.S. Arbitration & Mediation Midwest, Inc., to provide free, one-half day CLE programs on ADR topics at the School of Law for students, practioners, and the community approximately four times a year.  Practioners may view the videos on-line to receive MCLE credits.

Civil and Family Mediation Trainings

training program on basic mediation
and family mediation at the
School of Law.

The Dispute Resolution Program provides three and five day Mediation Training CLE certification programs for lawyers and members of the community approximately three times a year.  The next training on Civil, Family, and Employment Mediation will be in Springfield in the February 2008.  This training emphasizes conflict resolution theories of negotiation and mediation, strategies and skills for ethical mediators and attorney advocates, the mediation process, family legal issues, and family dynamics. 

  • Basic Civil and Family Mediation, held in St. Louis, MO, has been cancelled for the 2007-2008 academic year.  See information below regarding the upcoming mediation training in Springfield, MO.
